The Hilo Bay Hotel is a tourist-class, oceanfront, resort hotel located just under three mile from General Lyman Airport. This resort has been owned and operated by a native Hawaiian family for over 30 years. The Hlio Bay Hotel offers a traditional Hawaiian decor, full service hotel amenities, and island-style hospitality at affordable rates. The famous Black Sand Beach is only a mile away, as is a snorkel/dive center and hiking. This is the perfect base camp from where to immerse one's self in the culture and wonders of east Hawaii. The guest rooms are all equipped with individual climate control, and the standard bed configuration is two double beds.
