Location. The Ocean Five Hotel features an ideal location that puts guests at the entry to famous South Beach, next to miles and miles of white, sandy beaches, and close to world-famous restaurants, nightclubs and shops. With its striking pink, cream and yellow facade, the Ocean Five is actually a combination of two different Art-Deco hotels that date back to the 1930s.
Hotel Features. Staff at the family-operated hotel welcomes guests into a small living-room-style lobby with Mediterranean decor. In addition to room service, the hotel dishes up complimentary continental breakfasts and provides same- day dry cleaning. FIFTY, a restaurant and lounge, will serve up progressive American cuisine for lunch and dinner. La Factoria is owned by the hotel and specializes in egg dishes, wraps, quesadillas, burgers, pasta and soups.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms are appointed with custom wood furnishings, travertine floors and bathrooms and original artwork of ocean and beach scenes. Amenities include cassette/CD players, safes, cable television, complimentary wireless Internet access.
Expert Tip. Guests are primarily business and leisure travelers who appreciate the hotel's Old World charm mixed with high-tech amenities. Guests who want an inside view of the multicultural Miami can join the locals at the beach and park area just south of the hotel.
